Here’s a delicious cranberry sauce recipe that’s just as great on a Thanksgiving turkey as it is on Maia Yogurt. Cranberries are a crazy good source for antioxidants, fiber, and vitamin C and E. This magical fruit boosts the body’s resistance to infection, which enables our immune systems to thrive. They also lower your risk for heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and a bevy of other health risks.  Oh and the combined cranberry and Maia fiber power will help with digestion…the perfect post meal/nap treat!

Prep Time: 5 min.
Cook Time: 15 min.
Serves: 24 people

Ingredients:

-12 oz. frozen or fresh cranberries
-1 c. water
-1 c. sweetener such as organic brown sugar or Truvia
-orange zest

Directions:

-Add water, granulated sweetener, and zest to a saucepan over medium heat
-Add cranberries and cook for 10 minutes over low heat
-Increase the heat to medium until the cranberries begin to burst
-Wait to cool before serving
-Enjoy with Maia Yogurt!
